A Message from Kim ...
My Passion & Commitment to Education has never wavered since my first election in 2006 to be a trustee for the Greater Essex County District School Board. I have always taken my community responsibility as a trustee very seriously and I worked diligently on their behalf to represent them. I considered it an honour to represent Wards 1, 2 & 9 in this capacity and I sincerely hope that with your continued confidence and support that I may once again represent both West Windsor and South Windsor as your trustee for the next 4 years.
Personally, I feel uniquely connected to Wards 1, 2 & 9 as I was born and raised in the West End attending H.D. Bondy Public School, John Cahill Elementary, Marlborough Public School and Forster Collegiate. My children were born and raised in South Windsor attending Glenwood, Oakwood and Massey and now both have graduated from the University of Windsor as well as St. Clair College.
My passion for education was acknowledged in 2005 when I received a Champions for Education award from the GECDSB. In 2006 I was honoured to receive the Light the Way--City award from the United Way & Windsor Star for my leadership in volunteering in the community.
My sincere interest in the issues that face our students, our parents, our staff and the community members in our education system and especially the Greater Essex County District School Board, is the reason why I have chosen once again to run for re-election to represent the communities of Wards 1, 2 & 9. My dedication as a trustee representing both the West End and South Windsor has never been questioned and if I am once again elected, I promise to continue being just as dedicated to my communities and constituents as always.
Sincerely,
Experience That Counts
From 2006 until Nov.30th 2018, I served as a trustee for Wards 1, 2 & 9 and as such I worked diligently to represent the communities that I was elected to serve. It was truly an honour to be your elected trustee for those 12 years. The best part of being your trustee during those years was being a part of so many exciting events that allowed me the opportunity to be involved with each school community.
